On the second day it was my turn to be the driver… and of course today it was a sunny – even hot – day. And we drove until around 9pm before finding a pleasurable enough place to stay overnight somewhere in Kaskinen. Påps, as the bottles say when opened on the Swedish spoken area.
Brooklyn Hecla Iron ale is quite interesting for a low alcohol dark session ale, but not so much for my taste. Quite foamy (or was it the all day long driving) and light for a dark beer. Although I guess that’s for the low alcohol percentages. Malty and a bit sweety, hints of crispiness, light hops and a trace of licorice in aftertaste.
